Hi, I'm Mariah, and I’m so glad our paths have crossed! At my core, I believe in clarity — meeting yourself, and the harder realities of life, with more compassion instead of running from them. That belief shapes everything I do, whether I'm sitting with a therapy client, coaching a leader, or holding space in a yoga and sound session.

I've sat on the other side of the couch myself — as a therapy client, with my own therapist — and I don't ask anyone to go anywhere I haven't been. That's true clinically, and it's true personally, too.

I've been practicing for 7 years across school and private practice settings. I'm a somatic psychotherapist licensed in Illinois and Texas. I’m certified in Brainspotting and Trauma-Conscious Yoga — an approach that draws from parts work, Somatic Experiencing, and yogic philosophy through a decolonized lens. My work is relational and holistic, and often incorporates values work as a way of helping clients reconnect with what matters most to them. I also facilitate somatic support groups for fellow therapists, offering a space for those who hold space for others to be held themselves.

Yoga found me during a dark time, right as I was beginning my social work career. What I thought was an escape from the world quickly became something else — a way of meeting the world, and myself, with more clarity, compassion, and purpose. I wanted to understand the science behind what yoga was doing for my mind, body, and spirit, and as I gained a more clinical understanding of its benefits, I couldn't help but explore how to integrate it into my work with therapy clients. Yoga has been, and continues to be, an integral part of my mental, physical, and spiritual health — and I'm passionate about holding space and guiding others through the practice, wherever they are on their own healing journey.

I’ll never claim to have all the answers for any of the people or in the spaces I serve. I’m here to provide tools, and create the conditions for individuals and teams to feel supported enough to deepen their understanding of themselves and what they need to thrive.
